The legs are slender and long.

The wings are covered in minute scales. The wings ave a characteristic posterior cross-vein.

Antenna

The form of the antennae varies. Antenna in both male and female is segmented and filamentous. Antenna in male is called as Plumos and in female is called as pilos. The antennae is often covered with scales. The antennae base is wide and donut-shaped.
